'F' troop

"F" troop is the group of dogs FSD tried to use as service dogs but whom did not pass the rigors of training and 'flunked' out. Any of these dogs would make wonderful pets but simply were not able to be the highly coveted 'perfect' service dog. They are mostly house trained and may know some basic commands such as 'sit' or down. For more information on any of these great dogs, please email buddynme@bellsouth.net.

Yukon

Yukon is a nearly two year old black labra-doodle. He is 59 pounds, is neutered and is a truly wonderful dog who would do well in any setting. He washed out of the program due to being hesitant and unsure about new situations. He is an absolute love and would be great in any home. He is unknown with cats.

Ciara

Ciara is also a labra-doodle and is Yukon’s half- sister (same father). She is a lovely dog and would do well best in an active setting. She washed out of the program because she ‘spooks’ and barks in new situations. She is a real sweetheart and would be great in any home. She is unknown with cats.

Brandy

Brandy is an Australian Sheppard/Border Collie mix that was rescued from the pound. She is 50 pounds, a little over a year old and is spayed. She started exhibiting dominant behaviors and is food aggressive with other dogs, which is why she washed out of the program.  However, she is a real charmer with people and has never met a stranger. She would probably do best in an active home with no children. She is unknown with cats.

Jasmine

Jasmine is a tricolor beagle/terrier mix that was rescued from the pound. She is 37 pounds, a little over a year old and is spayed. She started exhibiting dominant behaviors, which is why she washed out of the program.  She would probably do best in an active home with no small children. She is unknown with cats.
